TYPO3

Author: Michiel Roos

TYPO3 is an enterprise level Content Management Framework. It consists of a set of core modules that work out-of-the-box, and over 5000 third party modules to choose from. TYPO3 comes with full user management and multi-language support. It's a great tool to build medium and large intra- inter- and extranet sites.

Solr is the popular, blazing fast open source enterprise search platform from the Apache Lucene project. Its major features include powerful full-text search, hit highlighting, faceted search, dynamic clustering, database integration, rich document (e.g., Word, PDF) handling, and geospatial search. Solr is highly scalable, providing distributed search and index replication, and it powers the search and navigation features of many of the world's largest internet sites.

This talk is about TYPO3, Solr and how they can make a great match.
